Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson almost made a birthday party faux pas at his daughter, Tiana‘s, seventh birthday party.

The Moana star shared a video of the cake-cutting during his youngest daughter’s birthday festivities. In the video, the 52-year-old father almost dropped the cake, but definitely avoided a birthday mishap by not doing so after giving his daughter a big slice.

He began his caption of the video, “You know I’m not letting a bunch of little girls grow up telling a story about how “The Rock killed our birthday cake. Their high pitched shrieks in unison is the perfect way to spike your adrenaline!”

“Happy Birthday to my youngest tornado, Tia! Love U baby,” he concluded.

Johnson is father to three girls: his oldest, Simone, 23, with whom he shares with ex-wife, Dany Garcia, and his two youngest daughters Jasmine, 9, and Tiana, 7, with whom he shares with his current wife, Lauren Hashian.

Back in 2021, The Fast & The Furious star spoke to People Magazine about being the ultimate “girl dad” and raising his daughters. “You can be wired, as a lot of fathers are, to fix things. Just having an expanded capacity to listen and be more tender and gentle really gave me that ability to solve whatever the issue is, but with them compared to for them.”

In 2023, he followed up with the outlet explaining how he balances career and parenthood.

“I’ve reached a point in my life where I can create my own schedule, which has really been nice, because it wasn’t always that way, and I’m really lucky,” he said. “It allows me to get closer to the girls.”

From where we are all sitting, it appears as if Johnson is nailing this fatherhood thing. Many fans commented on his post, applauding him for giving his daughter a “normal” birthday in comparison to some of the other famous Hollywood faces.

“A SIMPLE children’s birthday party !!!!” one social media user wrote.

“He has the money to do the most but he remains humble,” another commented.

“I love how he had a regular decorated birthday shabam for her. They didn’t rent out no dang club for her party like the Kardashians be doing lol,” one person stated.

A fourth commented on the cake itself. “I love that they got a $30 cake from Porto’s and not a $600+ cake you’d expect celebrities to order.”

We are so glad that The Rock didn’t drop the cake! Happy birthday, Tiana.
