Kiyaunta Goodwin is quickly establishing himself as one of Michigan State’s most coveted recruits.
Goodwin, a five-star offensive lineman, has pledged to Kentucky, but there is reason to believe he will choose the Spartans over the Wildcats.
Following an official visit, the player published a ‘Top 2’ of Michigan State and Kentucky, and he is now undecided between the two.
Goodwin said this morning that he hasn’t decided where he’ll go to college and doesn’t have a set deadline for making a decision.
While most Michigan State fans are eager for this to be over so they can make a decision, this could be the best news in terms of recruiting for the Spartans.
Goodwin is still a theoretical Kentucky commit, and the fact that he hasn’t signed yet is a good sign.

On Tuesday evening, Kiyaunta Goodwin, a five-star offensive lineman from Charlestown (Ind.) High School, flew from Louisville to Dallas.
For the early signing period, to take part in a national event. He was supposed to make his statement this morning. That was not the case.
Goodwin is ranked No. 25 overall by 247Sports and No. 4 offensive lineman in the 2022 class.
Kiyaunta wasn’t ready to choose between Kentucky (where he committed in April) and Michigan State, according to reports.
This should be added to the list of strange signing day occurrences: A prospect travels the length and breadth of the country to declare that he has nothing to say.
The drama will undoubtedly continue with Goodwin. That’s how five-star prospects feel.

Goodwin, a 6-foot-8, 340-pound hulk, has consistently towered over his peers.
In addition, he was usually taller than the older kids. For three years, he’d been watching the older prospects at Aspirations Fitness.
Today was no exception, as Chris Vaughn, the company’s founder and trainer, accompanied the 12-year-old to a football camp at the University of Kentucky.
Goodwin was already 6-foot-6 and weighed well over 300 pounds at the time, with one doctor predicting that he would reach nearly eight feet in height.
People would pause to admire the youngster, and Kentucky coach Mark Stoops and his staff had never seen anything like it.
