Melissa Molinari, who had been married to Marcello Molinari for a number of years, was arrested after he was accused of murdering his wife.
Melissa Molinari was 38 years old at the time, while Marcello Molinari is now 43.
Melissa Molinari was last seen leaving her Lolly Lane home in Centereach on November 21, implying that she did not spend Thanksgiving with her children. According to authorities, she did not bring her car with her.

According to the evidence so far, Melissa Molinari was murdered.
According to officials, Marcello Molinari, 43, was arrested shortly after on second-degree murder charges. The husband and father were arrested overnight at the local precinct and were scheduled to be arraigned on Friday.
On Friday morning, the woman’s death and disappearance were still being investigated.
Furthermore, police have not stated whether Molinari’s disappearance is suspicious, only that her family, including her husband, is cooperating.
Suffolk County investigators returned to the neighborhood on Wednesday to continue their search, but not to the residence.
Instead, officers searched a water basin across the street from the residence for any clues that could lead them to Molinari, 38. A canine unit was then dispatched to scour a ditch.
