Yves Bissouma is a Malian footballer who plays in the Premier League for Brighton & Hove Albion.

In 2018, he transferred to the Seagulls from Lille in France for a rumoured sum of 15 million pounds ($19.87 million).

Bissouma is regarded as one of the best defensive and deep-lying midfielders in the Premier League, probably the toughest football league in the world.

On October 6, Yves was dragged away from a local club in handcuffs by the known top six teams as their next potential transfer target.

The footballer was arrested and accused with suspected sexual assault. He was released on bail the next day.

On November 3, his bail was extended for another five weeks for a thorough investigation, which will complete on December 6.

Yves Bissouma Arrested Over Sexual Assault: Was The Brighton Player Bail Extended Again?

Yves Bissouma, a Brighton player, was detained for sexual assault, although the final verdict has yet to be published.

His bond period expires today, and no further details on the case have been released.

Bissouma was arrested for the assault accusation, and he spent the day in jail with his 40-year-old friend.

The athlete was only freed on bond the next day, as per the agreement, The Sun.

While his bond was increased to allow for a more thorough investigation, he has yet to be found guilty.

It is currently unknown whether or not the investigation has been completed.

If the case is not resolved, the player may be given a new bail for a longer period of time.

He was born in Issia, Ivory Coast, on August 30, 1996. Yves was born in Mali, but he was reared there and began his football career there as well.

At the age of 20, Bissouma signed his first professional contract with Lille in 2016.

Yves made his move to the Premier League at the age of 22 after a string of excellent performances.

Yves Bissouma, a midfielder for Brighton, is apparently unmarried and without a partner.

According to web sources, the player is currently alone and without a love partner.
